About 2BFree2B Free Addiction Ministry
Every Thursday 6-8pm @ Grace & Truth Bible Church Who are we? 2B Free is a group of Christians from the surrounding area with a heart for hurting people. We want to play an active role in God’s restorative work in the lives of those enslaved to an addiction. What is our philosophy? We believe that the Bible gives clear instruction on the nature of addictions and how they can be overcome through the power of Christ. What is our procedure? We will be speaking the truth in love. This means that we will openly yet compassionately confront the issues enslaved people must face and conquer in order to live healthy and happy lives. How does our program work? Our meetings will be held weekly on Thursdays from 6-8 p.m. The opening session will include testimonies of changed lives and prayer. The second period will cover the Crossroads addiction curriculum from the Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation (see back for more info). The third period will include an inspirational talk. We will close with a time for snacks and visiting. A nursery and classes for children will be available. Transportation available - please call! Who can participate? Teens and adults - Anyone recognizing they need help or wanting to help others. What is the cost? There is no charge for the program itself. Participants will be asked to pay for the Crossroads book. We are trusting that the Lord will provide, the funds needed to operate this ministry. Freewill donations from those who are in agreement with the 2B Free program are accepted and appreciated. |
